Go, Baby, Go and a Giveaway!

Guess what was waiting for me on my porch today?

We really need to paint our porch...yikes!
That's right!  While I was on vacation I got an email from the incredible Kate Spain accouncing that I had won the giveaway on her blog!  How exciting?!?  I never win anything!

I hope my husband will be understanding about our dirty house and take-out meals this week!  I can't wait to start playing with it!

I hope I can figure it out!

I am a big believer in paying it forward/karma, so in celebration of my good fortune I am hosting my first ever giveaway!

The funny thing is while I was shopping last week, I bought some of Kate's new line Terrain, and then I went back to the cottage and she had sent the email.  I feel like it was meant to be!

Anyway, if you are interested in winning 2 charm packs of Terrain, please leave a comment below.  No jumping through hoops, just leave a comment.  You could tell me about what you are doing to wrap up the summer or what fabric lines you are most looking forward to this fall.  International visitors are welcome to enter the giveaway.  I will close the giveaway at midnight next Tuesday, August 30th, and I will randomly pick the winner next Wednesday morning.

Thank you to Accuquilt and Kate Spain!

Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go play with my new baby!

**Giveaway now closed**

Congrats on the GO! and wow, what a fun giveaway!

I am pretty excited about Terrain, but I'm not sure what else is coming out--I've been avoiding even looking, because I have so many projects in my 'to be done' pile! :)

I LOVE her new line! I don't even have to know that it is Kate Spain to recognize her style. Thanks for this fun giveaway! I am also looking forward to Heirloom, but I think my first purchase will be "Children at Play" by Sarah Jane or "Ruby" by Bonnie and Camille. Sheesh, I don't know where to start! Thanks again!

Congratulations! I never win anything either, it feels like. Good luck with your first giveaway… I found mine rather nerve-wracking at first, but now I am excited to try another.

Thanks you for providing this opportunity! I have been mostly trying to ignore new fabric lines for the fall, because I need to make things out of some of what I already have!

My summer is wrapped up and the kids are back in school! Let's see, new collections...can I just say all of them? Congrats on your new toy and thanks for the opportunity to win some of Kate's fabulous new collection. I've committed myself to only purchasing what I need to finish off some WIPs until I get them done so I haven't had a chance to get my hands on it yet.

Just need to do a little school shopping before the kids go back to school after labor day. :) Thanks for a nice giveaway - I love Terrain!

Congratulations on your fabulous win and thanks so much for the chance to win two charm packs of Kate's new fabric! I'm just getting started on a Christmas gift quilt using Sandy Gervais' Tranquility fabric so it will be very warm and cozy. But I love the fresh bright colors of Kate's fabric lines too!

All our back to school prep is done and we are just waiting for next Tuesday. I'm always sad to bring the kids to school that first day, but they love being with their friends and the teachers are all so wonderful. I get over it quickly when I go back home and start sewing! 3:00 seems to come so quickly when I have a good project going!

Have fun with your new toy!
