Sunday Stash Report

This has actually been a good sewing week for me!  Unfortunately, that has meant a lot of late nights, and very little housework.  Oh well, I caught up yesterday.  The house is nice and clean, and all of the laundry is washed and put away!!  To celebrate I think I will finally stop procrastinating and quilt my Super Nova quilt.

While I have been sewing a lot, my quilting related ADD kicked in this week, and I have started two new projects!  I started to reorganize my fabric closet this week, and I just had to sew with some of it.

Sadly, my two year old got his hands on our camera, so there will be no pictures of my progress so far.  He is quite a destructive little guy!  All I can do is tell you that I am working on a Christmas quilt out of a Fruitcake (Basic Grey) Jelly Roll and Charm pack I found way in the back of the closet (score!), and this quilt with my Pips!  My advice for anyone this week who wants to sew with something new, but doesn't want to buy anything:  go shopping in your stash!!  It really worked for me this week!

Well, kind of:  I did buy some solids to use for another new project...not so bad.  Solids are a necessity in my book...

The numbers:

Used this week: 0 yards
Used YTD: 18.5 yards
Added this week: 3 yards
Added YTD: 85 yards
Net used for the year: -66.5 yards.

To see how everyone else is doing, check out Judy's blog!  Thanks for stopping by!

A new project is always fun. TWO new projects....well....it's no wonder you're in 7th heaven (except for the camera incident) :0)

I am with you on shopping the stash... I have all these fabrics tucked away for rainy days.
