Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!

I'm so excited to be participating for the first time ever! I usually miss it!

I am giving away something that I hope someone will love as much as I do! One day I was browsing at my LQS (sadly it has since closed it's doors) and I saw Echino on display. I fell in love with it instantly! The colors are so concentrated and I LOVE the animals in the prints. I bought it with the idea of making a pillow, but honestly, it has just been sitting on my shelf since I bought it. I've decided it's too pretty to sit! I would love for this to go to someone who can make something beautiful out of it!

Without further ado, I'm offering up a 1 yard cut of this beautiful Echino print. To win please just leave one comment. You can tell me about your summer plans, what sewing project(s) you are currently working on or whatever is on your mind. It's your choice. The giveaway is open to everyone! The winner will be selected randomly and I'll contact you Saturday morning.

Have fun looking at all the giveaways and Good luck!

**Giveaway is now closed as of 8:00pm May 25, 2012**

I am working on the last tiny bit of work on a dress that I will be wearing next month as a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding. Is it weird to wear it to another wedding that happens a little earlier next month? It's a pretty normal looking dress, not all bridesmaid crazy.

Any comment? I wish I lived in a sewing dream universe where I had a little cottage devoted to just that. No need to stuff things back in cupboards or take out/put back my sewing machine. Lots of drawers for tools and things. Wouldn't that be nice? I think so.
