No new finishes this week. We were too busy tending to our leaky basement to do any sewing. I'm hoping that's the last of the rain for a little while for this area! We can't take much more!
With all the craziness I also didn't have time to shop, online or otherwise, this week. I was very sad this week to hear that my favorite local quilt shop is closing. When I told my husband, he said he was shocked they were closing their doors, after all, hadn't I been keeping them in business all these years? (He thinks he's so funny...) If you are lucky enough to have a local quilt store that you love, please try to shop there whenever you can! I can't say how sad I am that I won't be able to go there when I have a few extra minutes on a Saturday to browse. It was my favorite thing to do when the hubby was home and the boys were napping. :(
Now that things have returned somewhat back to normal, I'm going to try to get some sewing in. Although, our autumn activities are starting back up this week. A new session of story times at the library and two playgroups start in full force starting tomorrow. We'll see how much I get accomplished...

To see how everyone else did this week head over to Judy's.

Hope the weather gets beter for you! I feel bad about not buying at the LQS but I've reached a point where I need to stay and quilt, not buy more stuff. Surprisingly, we had one new shop open in our area this week and another that should be opening soon. Who knows what changes these two additional shops might bring!
